Thrax

God of Death

One of the few gods still near his full original power, Thrax is a living presence on Vault as the divinity presiding over the realm of death. Unlike his counterpart in the multiverse, Thrax's domain is not one of transition or natural conditions but rather the darker side of death. The turmoil of the loss of life, the love of the void, and the hatred of the living. Thrax's followers and worshippers do not see death as existence after life but rather the rightful state of all beings. And the living all deserve to experience it, the sooner the better.

During the Constellation War, Thrax was a force unstoppable. Having one foot in both the realms of creation and the multiverse due to his parentage, Thrax delighted in destroying many gods. Side by side with Thorgunna and Doomblade, Thrax lead a coalition of violence that the likes of Avera and Calypso despised but could not deny its effectiveness. Thrax ultimately sought his own death by sacrificing himself to destroy Lathander in one of the longest and most hard-fought battles in the Constellation War, but was spared by Deorus. Arguably, Thrax won the Constellation War on account of his power being the predominant divine power on Vault.
