The Belligerents #19

The Belligerents planned their Serenity Shores caper alongside Vainya and Arakis, with both Daughters of Eve waiting in the wings to do their part if necessary

• They settled on flying a false flag to gain access to the low security docks while imitating a trusted crew

The first step was getting back to the Gravy Trained, but when they arrived, they found disicples of the Mire Made had been escorted to Brine's church by a group of Golden Guard out of Serenity Shores

• Brine shut himself away inside the church upon seeing the group

Raithe attempted to explain the situation to the guards, laying out their options, but they chose a different route by destroying their own ship so the Belligerents couldn't get it

The group was able to dispatch the guards before they could destroy the Gravy Trained, and Carmello and Patty, the two remaining crew members, made it safely to shore.

Dahlia cast Speak with Dead on the guard captain and the group learned there were two large class ships in Serenity Shores capable of carrying all the amalgamations out of Ephemeraldion: the Silver Horn and the Chataway's Charm.
