• Otho discussed with Neverending the nature of his presence at Sinner's Peak, and Neverending recruited Otho to his cause, one of finding the head of Abominate, the other demigod of Bane

• Otho and the group followed Neverending to the ritual chamber for the Ignis people, and fought against them, freeing almost all of the hostages taken from Clifftop

  • They discovered the hostages were being prepared with Rotleaf in order to cleanse them for sacrifice, the very substance Brynn had been seeking on the side of the volcano. (DM Note: this was a forgotten element during session, so a bit of retcon is necessary here.)

• After the battle, Neverending retrieved the head of Abominate, which the Ignis had apparently been worshipping

  • Neverending was sure that with the head of his once partner, he'd be able to discern the final resting place of his master, Bane

    • Neverending explained to the group, once prompted, that the gods of creation and the multiverse, the two powers of the Constellation War, were regaining power, and he needed to awaken Bane, who had been trapped on Vault instead of allowed to disperse into the multiverse upon his defeat, in order to give the multiverse gods a fighting chance.

• As a boon for helping him, Neverending was able to locate the final two Wavebender Liamanos for the group, one in Wild Bunch's possession near Topside, and the other in the Kindred Isles. The other 8 were already with Uqupa in Stormberth

• Having helped the demigod of Bane, the group returned with the Clifftop hostages across the jungle.
