Star & Scale #32
ParanOmnia

Upon entering Caim, Star and Scale sent out word to Ionlann 003 about their arrival through the use of a tattoo on Zeb's body used to contact her.
003 didn't show up, however, and the group, upon being recognized as Vadians, were escorted to a part of the city which was both remote but well-to-do. The escort to this particular location felt somewhat off-the-books, and a member of the Wing Guard met the city guard there.
The Wing Guard had a short discussion with the city guard in which he shook his head while looking at the group, and the group was allowed to go on their way.
In an effort to boths save the King from his affliction and now walk headfirst into an Omnia trap, the group decided to do some information gathering by visiting the Rampart, a bar known as the stomping grounds of the Mailman.
They found him there and learned he'd been trailing Nefaria since they'd last hired him on to learn more about them. The Mailman had lost them when they went to the Nine Hells to retrieve Detester, but warned that Omnia had many plans, all happening at once, and that the Lavender Lie was a terrible person worth being feared.
The Mailman knew the location of the group's old friend Tula the Puppeteer, so he brought them to her local puppet show. Tula was thrilled to see the group, but didn't want to get involved with Nefaria again. Rather that join up, she gave the group each a small doll that they could use to create illusions of themselves if needed.
The group finally approached Banner Plaza and heard the murmur from the general populace about what would happen if the King succumbed to his affliction. Ionlann 003 finally showed up and helped them get access to Lucidan Keep where the King was being treated.
Inside, High Prince Mathan Cauld denied them access, concerned that Vadians would naturally be seeking to do more harm than good. But before the group could retort, reports came in that Vad had somehow gained access to the inner city and were attacking by dragon back.
The group sent out their illusory selves to buy time while they tried to convince the regiment of guards in front of the door to King Cadogan to allow them entry. General Tracia Volinn, head of the Wing Guard regiment within the city, listened to them, but couldn't allow them to approach the King under such conditions.
Elowyn and Zeb decided to go join the fight outside to find the city under seige by Drakewardens and other Drakar Devouts atop dragons, and leading them was the living embodiment of General Killkenny, the same being exumed from the Ruins of Caern.
Elowyn made friends with a riderless pegasus who whisked her off into the air, and Zeb summoned Lubomir, who arrived in full draconic form.
