Tough As Dirt #7

• Tough As Dirt continued their journey towards Cypress to confront the Daughters of Eve to see if they have anything to do with the distruption in the divine energies of the world

• Winslow established a dirt pit on the deck of the Gateway Clipper in order to plant seeds and have something green on the ship. 

  • Cookeg took the dirt pit as an invitation to lounge in the garden until told to leave by Winslow

• After a few days at sea, Tough As Dirt noticed a beached creature at the northern tip of the Unguis Isle, a couple days out from Cypress

  • Varsmak was insistent they help get this beast back into the ocean, though he wouldn't go into detail as to why he felt so passionately

• Seeing Varksmak's concern, the crew decided to take a small boat in and found the beast was being harvested by a group of lizardfolk, and the beast was a massive kraken-like creature, larger than their ship, which Varsmak called "a child."

• Deciding the lizardfolk were doing something worth stopping, a battle ensued in which Tough As Dirt dispatched the Lizardfolk from chopping up and dead beast

• After the battle, they encountered a woman calling herself Executrix Altar, an Air Genasai who was "imprisoned" by the lizardfolk, though she easily killed her captor when she saw Tough As Dirt had killed the rest of the lizardfolk.

• Altar explained she had killed the "child" and dragged it onto land, as she had been tasked with finding and killing the Daughters of Eve, and she knew that were necromancers obsessed with resurrecting giant undead entities, thus their presence on Calvara Island.

• Varsmak was insistent they return the creature to the sea, but Executrix Altar seemed a formidable foe, so when she said the creature would not be moved until the Daughters of Eve arrived, there was nothing the group could do but wait along with her

• They did not need to wait long, as soon two figures emerged from the jungle and Altar went to meet them
