Wild Bunch #31

The Wild Bunch laned the Hareplane next to the Floating Pot in Cypress harbor to discover the throng of people assembled, numbering near two hundred, were there listening to Doxx speak.

• They soon discovered Doxx was not keeping them enthralled due to his message alone, but Equaline had taken up Doxx's position and used her musical voice to compel the people to obey.

Doxx spoke of peace enforced through violent action, and with Equaline's help, compelled the crowd to join him on his crusade to the Kindred Isles to take back his land, and then on towards taking back the rest of Vault.

• Doxx beckoned to Rusty, his old friend, and confided in him that these people would be fodder for the war machine, and his position on hating non-Kindred had not, in fact, changed.

As the people left to ready their vessels to join Doxx's new fleet, Equaline pulled Nickelgin aside to explain to him that they were no longer involved. She was fully bought in on Doxx's vision to rule the world, and she tried letting Nickelgin down easy.

As Doxx made ready to take command of the Hareplane, as he felt was his right, Nickelgn acted out against Equaline, but she used her musical commands to force him to stop.

A skirmish broke out on the two ships, in which the Wild Bunch managed to escape with the Hareplane, though they nearly left Rusty behind. Rusty was thrown onto the Hareplane as it rose into the air by Doxx after Rusty spoke out against his old friend.

• Doxx claimed he no longer had a friend in the world as he sent Rusty on his way, promising to see the group in the Kindred Isles with his army.

The group left Cypress, flying through the skies, and headed towards Queen's Meet, where Nickelgin had connection that could help them prepare for their arrival in the Kindred Isle.
