The Belligerents #11

• The Belligerents followed after Caster while Arakis held Klem hostage, but it was uncertain how long Arakis could manage such a feat

• Caster animated a group of marionettes, wooden dolls dressed in finery, that attacked the group at the steps of the temple where Gork was being held

• Raithe and Flapjack snuck into the temple and confronted Caster, who had Gork chained to the floor and a lifeless marionette on a nearby table, which seemed as though it hadn't been used in some time

• The pair convinced Caster they meant no harm and they all wanted the same thing: the safety of Caster's perfect creation, Gork

  • Caster released Gork into the group's care and called off the animated puppets

• However, Klem arrived and immediately killed Drakadog, claiming it was time for he and his brother to resume the work they had done together, and it was time to put away the silly pursuit of creation Caster had started

• Caster attacked his brother, and along with Druvigan's magic, managed to hold Klem down long enough to tell them Gork could be revived if the group found the Daughters of Eve and brought them to Ephemeraldion.

• The group escaped into the swamps with Caster in tow, unconscious from a beating he took from Klem
