Gaping Maw of Sound #20

The Gaping Maw of Sound along with Sydni went into the basement of the Church to find it well lit with candles and signs of recent activity

They found an obelisk with depictions of angels, demons, dragons, and gods, all engaged in ancient battles and depictions of violence

Upon further searching of the basement, they found a room with fresh blood, and a room in which a group of oversized rats with strange mutations attacked

The group dispatched the rats and had to make the choice to continue exploring for the divine presence they sensed nearby, or retreat and rest for the evening.
