Tough As Dirt #29

Tough As Dirt arrived at Ropeway to find there was a large gathering of ships as a monster hunting vessel had brought in a haul they were planning on bringing into the small coastal community

The group got a good night's rest and met with Salazar Quill in the morning, the proprietor of the Ropeway, and found him speaking with an armed woman who just so happened to be looking for Tough as Dirt

• The woman was Lucia Holt, a member of the knightly order of Calypso and peer of Brother Moor. She was looking to check in with Brother Moor, and upon learning of his death and understanding the undertaking the group was a parf of, decided to stick around to give them a hand.

It turned out a Relic Hunter group known as Tuumy's Ruumblers, was planning on finding a relic within the great beast the ship was bringing into port, and their leader, Teem Tuum, who took an immediate liking to Winslow, wanted to make sure their group wasn't there as competition.

The Divinaxiom requested access to everyone's thoughts and explained what it desired to be done with it

• It told the story of being a prisoner to each individual who had used it thus far, and all it wanted was to be used to exact it purpose: put an end to all diviine being in Vault

• If Tough as Dirt was not planning on using it to such ends, it asked to be passed off to someone else, and warned that violence always found its way to the device, whether wanted or not

The group talked it over and decided they needed to learn more about the Divinaxiom before deciding what to do with it, including the possibility of throwing it into the bottom of the ocean. They made their way to Govvanath in an effort to buy a scroll of Legend Lore, to learn more about the otherwordly artifact.
