Wild Bunch #14

The Wild Bunch made their way to the docks of Trine to find the Tip of the Spear, the warship of the Dawn Chaser commander, Executor Javalane

Jemiah was ecstatic to reunite with his commanding officer and lauded the party for their heroics in getting him out of the Nectarous Woods

Javalane was impressed and offered the group a mission, considering their battle prowess and Jemiah's newfound power; a mission to speed ahead of the primary force of Dawn Chasers to Cypress and ensure the Daughters of Eve didn't leave before the Dawn Chasers arrived

The Wild Bunch accepted the mission, and payment as mercenaries, and left to gear up before leaving that very evening

Planning on looking into the necromantic items that had in their possession, the group thought it prudent to leave Jemiah with the other Dawn Chasers

On their way to discover more about those items, they were ambushed by a woman named Winter and a contingent of Tidal Guard, the peace-keeping force of the Gossamer Sea, and the same force currently at odds with the Dawn Chasers

The Wild Bunch was able to easily defeat the Tidal Guard and managed to knock out Winter

• Searching her they found a note instructing her to jump the group with detailed descriptions of each of them, including Jemiah, with the direction "make sure they all die or the plan doesn't work."

• Bystanders quickly saw the fight on the street and went to alert the guards while the Wild Bunch discovered the people beneath the Tidal Guard armor were malnourished and weak, not the kind of people you'd find in the Tidal Guard

The group managed to escape the scene and ran into the city.
