Gore felt the voice of the artifact now embedded in his chest introduce itself as the Divinaxiom, and assured Gore that it meant no harm

• The Divinaxiom, which Gore called Vinny, claimed Quincy had pulled too much power too quickly, which ultimately lead to her losing herself, and that wouldn't happen to Gore

The Students questioned the artifact and soon Gore found the power being pulled from Uqupa beneath the city of Trine was being stored in the artifact, and Gore could manipulate it. Specifically, it was divine energy

• Gore could act as a conduit to pour that power into other living things, which he experimented with by imbuing a fish with divine power

• The group discovered the Divinaxiom acted as a conduit of divine power between living things

With this knowledge in hand, the group bought a cart and horse, and made their way into the Duskmaker Plains on their way to Wayward
